My friend Angela Guyton (of Takahashi’s Shellfish Concern)’s painting based on my Forebe Aneba of 2005.
2005 was an odd year in terms of productivity. In terms of capital C composition I wrote only this one piece – 3 and a bit minutes for solo harpsichord -. That was however the year that, having rented an out of tune piano for our flat in Budapest, I wrote the first half of what would later be Leche Vaqera; a return to writing pop music after a rather long time.
