Dal Niente : Chicago Nov 2011 – Darmstadt July 2012

I was in Chicago the 1st week of November for the first phase of rehearsals of the Ensemble Composition Workshop with Ensemble Dal Niente - the sessions were led by Lucas Fels (Arditti Quartet) and Hans Thomalla. The second phase of rehearsals and the premiere of the piece will be in Darmstadt in July of 2012 at the 46th Darmstadt Ferienkurse.

Mauricio Pauly is a Costa Rican composer and electric bass player based in the UK. He is co-director and founder of the Distractfold Ensemble and of the Altavoz Composers.
